Due to a recent retirement our client, a modern automotive and off-highway warehouse facility serving both Global & Regional clients with both stock orders & express overnight deliveries, are seeking a forward thinking, career warehouse professional to join them with the aim of bringing a fresh perspective to their well-established & successful model.
The ideal candidate is likely to have some supervisory experience but who is now looking to move in to a Shift Manager role, managing a team of up to 8 operatives. Our client has a continuous improvement approach and is looking for an individual to make a difference and forge a successful career with them. Succession planning in to a more senior position is their aim. Key tasks include:
• Employee management & development through coaching & team meetings. • Working within existing KPI’s & development of new challenging individual & team KPI’s. • Defining & optimising processes in line with LEAN management & continuous improvement & promoting this culture throughout the team. • Ensuring departmental & company quality policies, procedures & ESH policies are adhered to. • Root cause analysis of customer complaints working with the quality team.

Shifts 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00- 22:00; Monday to Friday
Negotiable salary circa £27,000 plus 15.5% Annual Bonus
